	Payment Of Fines: YOUR FINE IS CHARTED BY VIOLATION CODE NUMBER ONLY-PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU DOUBLE CHECK VIOLATION NUMBER AND NOT VIOLATION WORDING ON CITATION. If your case or summons does not require a mandatory court appearance, fines may be paid before the court date. Your court date is listed on your yellow citation on the bottom. If payment is not received by the Court date, you must appear in court. Violations which require a Mandatory Court Appearance: 40-6-15 Driving while Vehicle Registration is Suspended, Canceled, or Revoked $500 40-6-186 Racing or Drag Racing $682 40-6-270 Failure to Stop at accident w/ injury or damage $1,092 40-6-395A Fleeing or attempting to elude $1,050 40-6-395C Impersonation of Police Officer $655 Other offenses which require a Mandatory Court Appearance are: All DUI or DRUG offense and citations where any dilatation which has must appear written on it. Payment methods accepted: Money Order or Cashiers Checks. No Cash or Personal/Company Checks. Remit Money Order or Cashiers Checks Payable to: Municipal Court of Pendergrass. If you desire to mail your payment: If you are mailing payments they must be mailed in advance for the Court Clerk to receive payment BEFORE the court date. Include the yellow citation which must have your signature on the back. Place the citation number on the front of the Money Order/Cashiers Check (which can be found on the top right hand corner of the front). You can view the current fine schedule here. FINE SCHEDULE Court Appearance: You may arrive for your Court Appearance 30 minutes early for Check-In. As you check-in you will be prompted to see the Court Solicitor and Judge. For the safety and security of the public and court officials, all individuals and articles entering the court chambers are subject to search. Hats and cell phones are not permitted. Once the Judge has left the bench, failure to appear warrants will be immediately issued. Any court continuances must be approved by the Court Clerk. You are allowed only one (1) continuance.
